Portage holds virtual public sign code workshop

  PORTAGE, WISCONSIN – On Wednesday, June 3 the City of Portage held an online workshop to get input on the update for its existing sign code. Workshop participants were able to log in via the City’s website, and were also given an informational presentation that served to kick-off the sign ordinance update process. SHEBOYGAN, WISC (excerpts from wsjonline.com) – Alliant Energy has announced it is closing its Sheboygan coal-fired power plant, which is the last of its kind operating in Sheboygan. The Edgewater 5 generating station will be completely decommissioned by 2023.
