Megan MacGlashan is an associate planner with the Growth Management Team, providing comprehensive planning services to communities throughout the Midwest. Her main service areas include preparing park and natural resource based plans, assisting on comprehensive plans, coordinating public participation efforts such as community surveys and workshops, preparing grant applications, and updating natural resource and development-related ordinances. Megan’s interests and skills include natural resource planning, interpersonal and written communications, and GIS mapping software.
Prior to joining Vandewalle & Associates, Megan worked with the Dane County Regional Planning Commission and its successor agency on the preparation of the regional Water Quality Plan and point source pollution inventory for Dane County, Wisconsin.
At Vandewalle & Associates, Megan has prepared park and open space plans for the villages of Pleasant Prairie and Paddock Lake and the City of Greenfield. She is currently working on comprehensive plans for the Village of Cecil and the cities of Shawano, Janesville, Greenfield, and Waterloo, assisting with zoning ordinance updates for the Village of Oregon, and coordinating public involvement efforts on WisDOT highway projects.
