Employee Profiles

Kristina Surfus is an project assistant planner on Vandewalle & Associates’ redevelopment team. Kristina primarily works on redevelopment and economic development projects in the metro Milwaukee area.

At Vandewalle & Associates, Kristina brings her experience working with diverse groups and reaching traditionally underserved constituencies to this project. Kristina is fluent in both written and verbal Spanish.

Prior to joining Vandewalle & Associates, Kristina worked as an intern in the office of Senator Ron Wyden in Washington, DC. In this role, she assisted the Energy and Natural Resource Counsels on legislation regarding land use, economic security, and recycling issues. Kristina also worked as a State Sustainability Intern for the Executive Office of Environmental Affairs in Boston and on a research project for Costa Rica’s Center for Sustainable Development.
