Employee Profiles

David Schaefer is a GIS Technician with VANDEWALLE & ASSOCIATES. In
this role, David is responsible for map production using ArcGIS and
Adobe Illustrator. David works in support of many of VANDEWALLE &
ASSOCIATES’ comprehensive planning and related projects, developing
inventory, analysis, and future conditions maps.

David’s skills include a passion for mapping, a strong attention to detail,
and successful operation in a team environment. Current projects that
David is involved with at VANDEWALLE & ASSOCIATES include mapping for
a number of comprehensive plans in Shawano, Jefferson, Dane, and Rock
Counties.

Prior to joining VANDEWALLE & ASSOCIATES, David worked for a GIS
mapping company in Madison, Wisconsin. In his three years there, David
was responsible for map production using ArcGIS and GEMS software,
database development and maintenance, and performing quality control
layer checks on base maps.
