Kurt is involved in creating multi-layered storytelling maps and graphics that help capture complex analysis findings, illuminate opportunities, and communicate unique project visions. His work encompasses detailed site inventory, analysis and research as well as conceptual design input throughout the design and planning process. A few of the diverse projects he has been involved with include the Manitowoc River Walk, East Central Indiana Region, MGE Campus, MGE Health of the Service Area, Capitol East District, Middleton Urban Plaza, Middleton Pheasant Branch, Amsterdam New York Casino Master Plan, The Village at Autumn Lake, as well as many other Veridian residential neighborhood designs.

Prior to working at Vandewalle & Associates, Kurt practiced as a landscape architectural designer with Judith Stark and Associates of Delafield WI, and served as an Arboretum Restoration and Gardening Assistant at the U.W. Madison Arboretum. Kurt has also volunteered his time at the Arboretum, Smithgroup JJR’s Parking Day, and at Terrace Town’s children workshop. You can contact Kurt here.
